Main objective

The study aims to construct and validate a methodological tool to assess psychological and organisational constraints (POC) in healthcare by adapting measurement tools, such as objective (observations) and subjective (self-administered questionnaires) tools.
The long-term objective is the transfer of skills and the developed methodological tool to smaller healthcare institutions that are also subject to the same regulatory risk assessment requirements.

Inclusion criteria

- Statutory and voluntary contracted staff;
- 50% of the subjects' work is as a nurse, nursing assistant or doctor.


Non-inclusion criteria
- Temporary staff and staff that are planning to leave the UHC in two years (retirement, moving, etc.).

Main objective

To analyse the relationship between organisational factors, working hours and employee health in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais/Picardie regions. Secondary objectives: - Regional reference on stress levels at work; - Relationship between occupational stress and health; - Relationship between incidences of stress and health problems.

Inclusion criteria

Employees with a permanent employment contract who understand French and are living in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais or Picardie region.

PHOENIX - Cohort on the scalable process of post traumatic stress disorders : The involvement of stress regulation systems and the role of allostatic load

Main objective

The main goal of the project is to study the psychological consequences of violent trauma and the predictive value of biological and clinical stress markers in the development of PTSD
The specific objectives are :
1) To evaluate the allostatic load level and its development over time
2) To evaluate the prevalence of PTSD and other psychiatric co-morbidities (as depression) on subjects who did endure severe events
3) To determine if the allostatic load level is in link with a chronical development of a post traumatic stress disorder

Inclusion criteria

-women and men aged 18 to 75 years
-person who have experienced a traumatic event during the previous week (0 to 7 days before)
-type of events : physical assault, sexual assault, work accident, road accident, natural disaster.

Main objective

Primary objectives: check the impact of folate (and vitamin B6 or B12) and/or omega 3 supplements in preventing the recurrence of ischemic disorders in patients with a background of ischemic cardio or cerebrovascular history.

Secondary objective: assess the role of certain genetic mutations in the ability of supplements to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Inclusion criteria

Subjects aged between 45 and 80, having presented a myocardial infarction, unstable angina or stroke in the period preceding their inclusion (event occurred at least one month and at the most one year prior to inclusion).

Exclusion criterion: subjects that have to take B12, folic acid or B6 supplements, subjects under methotrexate treatment, subjects suffering from a life-threatening non-cardiovascular disease over the 5 years of the study, severe chronic kidney disease sufferers.
